Ion Izagirre (Cofidis) will finally be able to bid farewell to his professional career on the bike. This Sunday, with a splint on his wrist, he will be at the exit of the Lombardy Gyre and later, at home, he will run the Ciclocross of Ormaiztegi .
Izagirre broke his wrist while he was training, which seemed to force him to drop out of the professional competition before the competition.
In his 16 years of career, Izagirre has won 20 professional wins, the last two in 2026: one at the Miguel Indurain Grand Prix and one atthe Marco Pantani Memorialon September 12.
