Catalan Marc Brustenga returns to the Caja Rural-Seguros RGA six seasons later
After two seasons on the Lidl-Trek team, the Catalan arrived at Kern Pharma, where he has competed for the last three seasons, and this season won his first career win in the Classic Adelie in Vitre.
Six seasons later, Marc Brustenga (Santa Eulalia de Ronçana, 1999), a 26-year-old cyclist, will return to the Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, the Navarro team announced in a statement.
After two seasons on the Lidl-Trek team on the WorldTour, theCatalan arrived at Kern Pharma , where he has been for the last three seasons.
This season he won his first career win in the Classic Adelie in Vitre, a French test in which he was able to read brilliantly a fast race full of traps and then impose himself on the sprint.
"I've seen the structure of Caja Rural-Seguros RGA grow over the years and I think it's one of the best in ProTeam today," Brustenga said.
"Insidethe road I can offer some peace of mind and experience I think in the classics and in the one-day races, for example the tests in France or Belgium, "the cyclist added.
"This year I have managed to improve my performance, and so I have gathered my first professional victory, and I believe that I must continue along that path and continue to improve in order to achievemore victories and improve as a cyclist, "he said.
