Pogacar renews with the UAE until 2032 and ends the season
The five-time Tour champion Slovenian cyclist has extended his connection with the Emirati team and announced that he will focus on recovering from injuries from the Return's severe fall.

A week after the severe fall in the Lap, Slovenian Tadej Pogacar has renewed his contract with the UAEuntil 2032, while the team has confirmed that the cyclist will not compete again this season, so he will not have a chance to re-validate his world champion title.
"The UAE Team Emirates-XRG has been pleased to announce that Tadej Pogacar has extended his contract with the team until the end of the 2032 season, thus confirming the long-term commitment between the team and one of the most important runners of his generation, "says a statement from the Emirati squad.
Pogacar, who is recovering from surgery on his collarbone, has been pleased with the commitment he has just renewed. "From the beginning, I have felt at home in this group. We have grown up together over the years and shared wonderful moments, so I am very happy to extend my contract until 2032," the Slovenian said.
The team has confirmed that Tadej Pogacar will not compete again in the 2026 season due to a fall in the Returnto Spain. "I didn't want my season to end like this.
