Labor Kutxa has signed Sandra Alonso for next season
The 28-year-old Alicantine cyclist has signed for a season with the Basque team after returning to the competition after becoming a mother and demonstrating a good level.
Sandra Alonso returns next season to the professional platoon with Laboral Kutxa-Euskadi.\u00The cyclist of the A0Torrevieja had his baby in December 2025 and this year has demonstrated a high level after returning to the races with the Eneicat-Be Call.
Alonso was third in the Eibar Grand Prix, bronze in the Spanish counterclockwork championship and, last week, silver in the Mediterranean Games counterclockwork. Bere are among the goals to run the Paris-Roubaix again (in 2022 it was tenth), and return to the Tour de France.
"I hope my experience will serve to show that motherhood and high-level sport are perfectly compatible," the cyclist said.
Alonso is Labor Kutxa's fourth signing for next season, after Maier Olano, Ayala Serrano and Maite Urteaga .
