Gotzon Martin renews his contract with Euskaltel-Euskadi until 2028

Vizcaíno cyclist Gotzon Martin (1996, Orozko) has renewed his contract for two more seasons, until 2028, with Euskaltel-Euskadi, thus serving more than ten years in the structure of the orange team, according to the Basque Foundation on Tuesday.
Martin's entire cycling career is closely linked to the Basque Country Foundation, which he started in his classes through the Pedagogical Classroom, competed amateur with the Foundation between 2015 and 2017 , and became a professional in 2018, when the team returned.
Since 2020 he has competed in the elite in the ProTeam category and is one of the team's top references. He has participated in three editions of the Vuelta (2021, 2022 and 2024). In 2026, Gotzon is the second cyclist to give the team the most UCI points.
