Mikel Landa leads the Euskaltel-Euskadi team in 2027 and 2028
The Alavés cyclist has returned to the Basque Foundation to lead a major sports project alongside Euskaltel, Kutxabank and Basque Country.
Mikel Landa returns toUskaltel-Euskadiin 2027 and 2028. The Murgia cyclist will wear the orange jersey again, returning to the structure of the Basque Foundation, which began its career as a professional.
Landa began her career in Orbea and Euskaltel-Euskadi before passing through Astana, Sky, Movistar, Bahrain and Soudal QuickStep. In her palmaris stand out twopodiums in the Giro de Italia, two fourth places in the Tour de France and a fifth place in the Vuelta.
The return of the cyclist from Murgia will also awaken the illusion of the Basque fans, since the Alavés cyclist has for years become a symbol of the movement of fans called "Landism".
With its signing, Euskaltel-Euskadi wants to strengthen its sports project to achieve victories and podiums in major races, add UCI points and have a broader international calendar.
