Kepa Ormazabal, Ander Otegi and Alain Suárez, Euskaltel to Euskadi
Euskaltel-Euskadiwill give three BBK-Euskadicyclists the opportunity to join the main team in summer, starting on 1 August: Kepa Ormazabal (2006, Gabiria, Gipuzkoa), Ander Otegi (2006, Zegama, Gipuzkoa) and Alain Suárez (2003, Los Corrales de Buelna, Cantabria).
On theone hand, Ormazabal has not only won the Valladolid Classic (qualifying for the Spanish Cup), but has won an excellent position in the third stage of the Ronde de l'Isard, as well as eighth place in the Mungia Grand Prix. On the other hand, Otegihas been champion against the clock of Gipuzkoa and Euskadi and has collected numerous top 10 in the Basque calendar.
Ander Otegi will debut on the Poitou-Charentes Tour from 25 to 28 August, while Kepa Ormazabal and Alain Suarez will wear the orange jersey on the ZLM Tour from 2 to 6 September.
