The leader of the Visma-Lease a Bike, Jonas Vingegaard, will focus his calendar on the big laps and, in addition to the Tour de France, will debut in the Giro de Italia next season.

"I've been thinking about running the Giro for a long time. It's one of the most important races on the calendar and one I've never done before," Vingegaard explained.

The cyclist has stressed that this year the decisive moments of the Tour will meet in the last week, which could reduce the time differences.
