Barandika and Basque have suffered but won Johan and Gorka in three games
The victors have taken advantage of the bad start of their rivals to win the first game quite easily, but in the second the Sorozabal brothers have improved their game considerably, forcing the third game, while in the third the gernikarra and the bidartarra have been stronger.

Xabi Barkka and Thibault Basque beat Johan and Gorka Sorozabal in three games (15-11, 12-15 and 5-2) on the second day of the semifinals of the Eusko Label Winter Series at the Jai Alai fronton in Gernika.
In a rather cold game start, the Sorozabal brothers have made mistakes, with difficulty measuring the Gernika fronton. Once the Biarritz couple have entered the match, Barandika and Basque have been far superior to their rivals. Gernika's striker and Bidart's zaguero have shown a solid game to win the first game relatively easily (15-11).
The Labor couple has improved considerably in the second game. The Sorozabal brothers have begun to command the second game, but Barandika and Basque have not given up and have matched the intensity of the Biarritz couple. However, the Gernika striker has not dared to score and has constantly loaded the game back.
Barandika has started the third game very sharply with a chula and two walls (2-0). Johan has responded with a masterful play, putting a great ball in the wide (2-1). Next, Gorka has not put a pretty easy ball into the joke (3-1), and after the break, the gernikarra and the bidartarra have made the fourth both, quickly deciding the game and the match (5-2).
Johan and Gorka Sorozabal arrived in the Basque Country yesterdayand will play two consecutive Eusko Label Winter Series games (12 and 19 January).
The Sorozabal brothers have been playing Dania Jai Alain (Florida) since December, but the level is not the same (Johan and Gorka lead the statistics with great advantage), and the court and the material are changed, to which must be added the fatigue of crossing the Atlantic with little time to adapt.
Last year, Urreisti and Gorka made a very good first phase, but the results weren't the same when they had to come from Florida.
