Kosner Baskonia has signed Nigerian Eugene Omoruyi for two months, with the option of staying on the team until the end of the season
The player, who comes from the Al Nasr in Dubai, will arrive in Madrid in the next few hours to meet his new Baskonia teammates.
Kosner Baskonia has registered player Eugene Omoruyi (1997, Nigeria) for the next two months, according to the Vitorian club in a statement.
The player comes from the Al Nasr Club in Dubai, where he was playing this season, and after playing last season at the G-League Raptors 905.
Omoruyi began his career at the United States University (NCAA) at the Rutgers Scarlet Knights and in the 2021-22 season made the leap to the NBA by the Dallas Mavericks.
The Nigerian player last season played in the NBA Development League, averaging 18.5 points, 6.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
