The American Noah Lyles broke the world record for 150 meters at the Ostrava meeting in the Czech Republic with a time of 14.67 seconds.
Lyles, the current 100-meter and 200-meter Olympic world champion, has lowered the previous record of Jamaican Kishane Thompson by 25 hundredths, which Thompson set on April 4 at 14.92 seconds.
