In the quarter-final of the San Fermín Tournament played in Gernika, Unai Laso beat Erik Jaka 18-22. Laso made a great start and, despite opening the gap, Jaka scored seven in a row to set the 13-13. From there the duel was even until 17-17, but in the final stretch Laso again prevailed, closing the match with eta 18-22.

Thanks to this victory, on July 3 he will play the semi-final against Peña at Donostia's Atano fronton.

On the third day of the Grand Slam-Jai Alai League, Txanika and Salegi have needed two sets to beat Urreist and Gorka (8-15 and 14-15). Goitia and Basque have also been imposed in two sets on Javier and Zabala (15-9 and 15-9). In the second set, with 2-1, Goitia has injured her left ankle and since then Basque has taken over the game.

Jon Ander Peña has won 22-13 for Iker Larrazabal and qualified for the semi-finals of the San Fermín Tournament in Sestao. After a very equal start, in which they were tied to 11, the match fell in the second half on the side of a stronger Peña II. The semi-final rival will leave the match between Laso and Artola in Gernika.

Zenotz's striker soon broke the San Fermín Championship game by putting 11-2 in his favor, allowing him to play a more aggressive game in the second half of the game played in Hernani. He will face Jokin Altuna in the next phase, Monday, in Mungia. 

Goixerri is the first txapela to win in the Jai Alai League. In the first game the winners have sent on the scoreboard, but in the final stretch Erkiaga and Gorka have squeezed a lot. In the second game, the losers have been ahead, but in the end the final score has decided.

Alavesista Maite Ortiz of Mendibil and Vizcaíno Maia Goikoetxea have won two games (5-15 and 5-15) and have taken the txapela. The reborn striker Elaia Gojenola and the Mutrikuarra zaguero Oaia Otaño have had no choice.

Astelena has taken over the match after five months without a match by the Eibar fronton. The match was 341 balls, 63 minutes of intense competition. The Manomanist champion was winning 21-18, but in the end it was Zabala who took the victory. Both pelotaris were exhausted. Javi Zabala will measure Joseba Ezkurdia in the quarterfinals.

Barrenetxea IV, Aldabe, Ansa II and Zubiri have chosen the material they will use in the final of the Remonte Tournament. The Blue Grains have chosen live balls, as they have throughout the tournament, while the Purple have chosen lower, lighter balls.

Mirian Arrillaga and Nora Mendizabal are the first women in the long history of the Galarreta fronton to serve as referees. They are both pelotaris, and with the experience of being judges, they claim that they would also try the lift.

Josetxo Ezkurra and Imanol Ansa have made the three most spectacular of the semi-final of the Remontari. 

The longest tournament of the summer will begin on July 17 in Viana. Javi Zabala will partner with Morgaetxebarria in Series B. On the other hand, Elordi and Mariezkurrena will partner in Series A, Altuna and Imaz will repeat one more year, and the Manomanist champion Dario Gómez will be escorted by Iztueta.

The fourth edition of the Plazandreak tournament has been presented at the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia. All matches will be played between 6 July and 10 August, including the final, at the Fronton Esperanza in Bilbao.

At Hernani's Galarreta fronton, both couples have chosen material for the semi-finals of the Erremontari session. On the second day of the league, Doneztebe's and Uitzi's were imposed.

The summer season will begin on July 2 at the fronton of San Juan de Luz (Lapurdi) and end on September 4 in Pau. Biarritz will also host part of this tournament. The top four pelotaris will play another championship in the United States in a format yet to be determined.

Imanol Ansa and Aritz Zubiri have defeated Ander Goikoetxea and Aritz Juanenea (9-15 and 8-15) in two games. With this victory, the purple have won the semi-final pass and hope to make a nice match against Ezkurra II-Azpiroz.

The Bereziartua sidreria couple beat Alorrenea 9-15 and 8-15. Ezkurra and Azpiroz will be measured in next week's semi-final.

Bixente and Oyhenard have won the Grand Slam of San Sebastian on the fronton Carmelo Balda. After winning the first set 4-15, when the second set was about to end (13-13) Argoitia was injured in the knee and the Txanika Zaguero was unable to finish the final. In the women's final, Erika and Laura beat Lur and Alize in two sets: 7-15 and 4-15.

After nearly five months off the court due to a serious injury to his elbow, Gernika's striker played again this afternoon. He reappeared in Mungia with Zabala against Goixerri and Lekerika. Barandika and Zabala lost in two games (9-15 and 14-15).

The final to be played on the fronton Karmelo Balda will be offered live by ETB and sports eitb.eus, starting at 5:00 p.m. In the first phase the two couples were in the same group, and then Txanika and Argoitia were imposed.
