A month ago, Oriamendi sentenced Imanol Ansa to a month's absence from training, leaving him out of the Manomanist Championship. Ansa has denounced that there are personal reasons behind this decision and that the company is unwilling to negotiate and resolve the situation, and has stressed that the situation is detrimental to both the lifts and the future of the sport itself.

The current champion, Aritz Juanenea, will have to defend against five other candidates: Endika Barrenetxea, his rival in the 2025 final, Xabi Azpiroz, Josetxo Ezkurra, Iban Larrañaga and Kemen Aldabe. The final will be played on October 3. On the other hand, Imanol Ansa will offer a press conference this Friday at 11 a.m. at the Urnieta municipal fronton.

Etxarren's zaguero, José Javier Zabaleta, has made a bad start to the semi-final, but he has finished the match very well. The Riojano striker and the Navarro zaguero have met Larrazabal and Mariezkurrena in the final played on Saturday in Vitoria.

In the first semi-final, they beat Laso and Albisu 22-13. Marker was tied at the beginning. In that period, Laso has done the best job on the red side, because Albisu has not been very clear.

Eighteen pelotaris from Oriamendi 2010 released a statement on Tuesday, expressing their "full support" for Ansa II and calling for the future of the remount. We are still in time to resolve this situation and allow Imanol Ansa to participate in the Individual Championship.

Leitzarra won the Kale Pilota championship in Zarautz on Monday night, and with the victory, Zabaleta highlighted the high level of play on the court and the great atmosphere created among the fans.

Leitzarra beat Olatz Arrizabalaga in semi-finals, in two games, 10-2 and 10-1, and in the grand final beat Laia Salsamendi in three games, 10-5, 9-10 and 5-3.

Aldabe and Barrenetxea won the final of the Zarautz Remonte Tournament. They beat Segurola and Juanenea in two sets. In the first, they dominated 15-7 and in the second, though they squeezed a little more, 15-9 and the set in their pocket.

Larrazabal and Zabaleta got their first point at Masters Caixabank in Estella after beating Etxeberria and Iztueta 20-22. Peio Etxeberria has replaced Javier Zabala.

Barandika and Manci are the first finalists of Gernika's Grand Slam after winning Goitia and Basque (15-14/12-15/1-5). Next Saturday is the second semi-final, and the grand final will be in San Roque on August 16.

Elordi and Mariezkurrena have easily defeated Altune and Imaz (6-22) on the third day of the CaixaBank Masters, thus adding two wins out of two and placing themselves second in the ranking.

Zarautz, on Monday, even for a few hours, will have a very special fronton in the Malecón, where the Laboral Kutxa street ball tournament will be held.

The first semi-final will be played by Laia Salsamendiand Nora Mendizabal, and the second by Goiuri Zabaletaand Olatz Arrizabalaga. 

Previously, from 18:00 to 20:00, the youth of the Zarautz ball school will face each other.  

In the first semi-final, the Aspe will face the couple of Altuna-Rezusta against the winners of last year's Elordi-Zabaleta, while in the Baiko branch the couples Artola-Mariezkurrena and Laso-Iztueta will fight for the ticket for the final.

The tournament will be played at the local Aritzbatalde fronton and will be divided into two groups. The first semi-final will be played this Friday, San Ignacio Day: Aldabe-Barrenetxea IV vs Goikoetxea V. a-Azpiroz. On Saturday, in the second semi-final, Segurola and Juanenea will face Ezkurra II and Larrañaga.

Laso and Martija got their first point at the Masters CaixaBank, turning the game around. The Blues dominated the start (13-17), but Martija's strength and good game in Laso's home stretch decided an 81-minute hard kick in favor of the Reds (22-19).

Mutriku's puntist was injured last Saturday on the first day of Gernika's Grand Slam and is expected to return to the court in early August.

The Summer Season finals will be played by Juanenea-Aldabe and Barrenetxea IV-Zubiri on Saturday in Galarreta.
