Zarautz, on Monday, even for a few hours, will have a very special fronton in the Malecón, where the Laboral Kutxa street ball tournament will be held.

The first semi-final will be played by Laia Salsamendiand Nora Mendizabal, and the second by Goiuri Zabaletaand Olatz Arrizabalaga. 

Previously, from 18:00 to 20:00, the youth of the Zarautz ball school will face each other.  

In the first semi-final, the Aspe will face the couple of Altuna-Rezusta against the winners of last year's Elordi-Zabaleta, while in the Baiko branch the couples Artola-Mariezkurrena and Laso-Iztueta will fight for the ticket for the final.

Laso and Martija got their first point at the Masters CaixaBank, turning the game around. The Blues dominated the start (13-17), but Martija's strength and good game in Laso's home stretch decided an 81-minute hard kick in favor of the Reds (22-19).

Enara Gamind will play the final of the four-and-a-half "Plazandreak" after defeating Aizane Ibarrola 18-17. Laukiz's pelotari has not been satisfied with the match, but has left the game.

Amaia Aldai and Miriam Arrillaga beat Goiuri Zabaleta and Nora Mendizabal 22-18 in a very tough, long and struggling match. Similarly, in the four-and-a-half, Enara Gaminde won 18-17 over Aizane Ibarrola.

Aldai and Arrillaga have defeated Zabaleta and Mendizabal, and after a very tight match the Reds have won 22-18. This victory has also given Aldai and Arrillaga the pass to the final.

Laso and Iztueta will play the first semi-final on August 11 against Peña II-Mariezkurrena II, and the second semi-final on August 12 between Ezkurdia-Zabaleta and Altuna III-Rezusta.

In Barakaldo, Artola and Rezusta won the first point of the Caixabank Masters after winning Ezkurdia and Albisu by 17-22. Otxandion also played the festival this afternoon. Elordi and Mariezkurrena won 22-18 over Larrazabal and Zabaleta.

Leitzawon the final of the Intervillage Ball Championship in Zumarraga. The competition was decided in the third match. In the senior category, thevictory won by Txoperena and Goikoetxeagave the victory to the leitzarras,  22 and 19 against Apaolaza and Lizeaga .

Etxeberria and Iztueta have easily defeated Altuna and Imaz in the first match of the 2026 CaixaBank Masters. There has been no match and, taking the top 10, the Blue Grains have quickly turned the game around, with Iztueta playing a great game.

The tournament began on July 5 and will end on September 27 with the grand final broadcast live by EITB. 

Thus, the current Couples champions Laso and Albisu will face each other on August 5 Larrazabal and Mariezkurrena. The next day, August 6, in the Aspe branch, Altuna-Rezusta and Zabala-Zabaleta will fight in the second semi-final.

Unai Laso and Martxel Iztueta are the Couples champions of the San Fermín tournament after defeating Peio Etxeberria and José Javier Zabaleta for 22-19 . It has been a tight and difficult final, but the Reds have dominated the second half. Laso has thus made a round San Fermín tournament by winning the 4 ½ and the Couples.

In the match of doubles, Amaia Aldai and Miriam Arrillaga won 22-13 for Laia Salsamendi and Andrea Capellan, followed by a tight four-and-a-half match in which Goiuri Zabaleta defeated Itxaso Erasun (18-14).

Goiuri Zabaleta has replaced Madalen Etxegarai and won 18-14 over Itxaso Erasun in 4 and a half. The match has been tight and fatigue has conditioned both pelotaris.

Amaia Aldai and Miriam Arrillaga beat Laia Salsamendi and Andrea Capellan 22-13. Aldai said he had a hard time adjusting to the court measures, but finally made the final score of the match and the couple got a golden spot.

The tournament will begin on July 17 and end on October 4; the final will be played in Pamplona at the Navarre Arena.

Peio Etxeberria and Jose Javier Zabaleta have qualified for the final of the San Fermín Couples Tournament, defeating Altuna and Martija 9-22 at the Labrit. They have controlled the match at all times and won comfortably. In the final they will face Laso and Iztueta.

The forward of Bizkarreta-Gerendiain and theTolosarra zaguero beat 22-20 to Erik Jaka and Jon Mariezkurrenafor an hour and a quarter and a close fight of 626 balls. Laso and Iztueta beat Ezkurdia and Gabirondo first and thanks to yesterday's second victory they will be in the final on Tuesday.

In the San Fermín Women's Master Cup Circuit Couples Championship played at the Labrit, Goiuri Zabaleta and Itxaso Erasun have defeated 22-8 Olatz Arrizabalaga and Nahia Bertiz. Although the Blues have advanced 1-2, from there the Reds have dominated and won with authority.
