The Lointek Gernika Bizkaia will face the Universitas Pecs in the first play-off round of the 2025-2026 season, as confirmed on Friday. Lucas Fernández's team will play the one-way game at home on December 11 in Maloste and the return match will be on December 18 in Pecs, Hungary.
Lointek Gernika and Universitas Pecs have met twice in this European Cup, as they have both been in Group C in the regular phase. The Universitas Pecs won the victory in those two encounters; in the Lauber Dezso Sport Hall, the result was 62-60, while in Maloste the match ended 63-66.
EITB will broadcast the two qualifying matches live;Lointek Gernika and Universitas Pecs will aim to qualify for the eighth finals.
