Kutxabank Araski has signed Alero Maria Roters
Roters, 25, has arrived on the Basque team from Unicaja; in the last season, his promotion to the Endesa League has been very close.
Kutxabank Araski has signed up Alero María Roters, announced on Tuesday by the Vitorian club itself. Roters, 25, has arrived at the Basque club from Unicaja; in the last season, his promotion to the Endesa League has been very close.
The player born in Tenerife, says Araski, stands out for his constant work on the track and balances the game, as well as his great physical strength and polyvalencia, so he can act as an alero and also as an ala-pivot, depending on the needs of the team.
He has militated in the United States, the universities of Fairleigh Dickinson and Alabama. As a professional, Roters has militated in the Royal Nautical Club of Tenerife, the Vega Lagunera Adareva and the Unicaja. In Malaga, in the 2025-2026 season, he has played 33 games and averaged 7.7 points in 3.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per match.
Araski's coach, Made Urieta, believes that Roters is a warrior, that he doesn't need the ball to stand out, and that he can act as a glue for the team. Although he hasn't played in the Endesa League yet, we think he can make a great contribution to the team.
