Valencia Basket defeated Hozono Global Jairis (70-65) in the final and won the Queen's Cup for the second time

The Valencia Basket won the 2025-2026 Queen 'sCup this Sunday atthe Palau d'Esport Catalunya in Tarragona. The champion defeated theHozono Global Jairis   in the final with a score of 70-65, thus achieving the title for the second time in its history.

The Valencia Basket has struggled to get into the final, the Hozono Global Jairis has come out more alive and has taken advantage of the mistakes of its rivals to dominate the match. In the second quarter the match has changed and the Valencia Basket has been more enthusiastic : it has left its rivals without scoring for four minutes.

The Valencia Basket better left the locker room and took less than two minutes to turn the scoreboard around: a three-point basket by Elena Buenavida put the 41-38.

Another three-point basket, that of Massey, has brought the 58-50, and with that result they have reached the last ten minutes. The Valencia has started securing the title through the defense, but the 2025 champion has not given up; the Hozono Global Jairis has been placed at six points inthe absence of 69-63, two minutes and thirteen seconds, and has tightened the marker more with a 69-65, but Carrera has put the 70-65, with a free shot.
