Aitor Elordi and Iker Larrazabal have played an exciting match to move on to the quarter-finals of the Ezkurdin Four and Half Championship, a very intense match, with the two pelotaris at all times on par and exchanging so many, but in the end the Aspe pelotari was imposed (22-20).

Aitor Elordi and Jon Mariezkurrena beat Joseba Ezkurdia and Jon Ander Albisu 16-22 on Sunday in the grand final of the tournament in a very contested match. Elordi wears the CaixaBank Masters txapela for the first time and Mariezkurrena II already has four.

In the semi-finals played on Friday night in the Navarre Arena, Elordi and Mariezkurrena II defeated 13-22 Artola and Rezusta, while Ezkurdia and Albisu beat Zabala-Iztueta 22-13. The final will be on Sunday, also in the Navarre Arena. 

Elordi and Mariezkurrena beat 10-22 to Artola and Rezusta in the seventh day match of the CaixaBank Masters.

Aitor Elordi and Jon Mariezkurrena won 22-10 against Unai Laso and Julen Martija at the Lekeitio fronton, qualifying for the semi-finals of the CaixaBank Masters.

The blue couple have dominated the game since the beginning, in Elizondo on Friday night, and thus carry 3 points in the championship, while Ezkurdia and Albisu have only one point in the ranking.

Zabala and Iztueta have won 19-22 for Elord and Landa, who have replaced Mariezkurrena, in Labastida, and in addition to adding their third point at the Caixabank Masters, with one more match, they have become leaders.

Elordi and Mariezkurrena have easily defeated Altune and Imaz (6-22) on the third day of the CaixaBank Masters, thus adding two wins out of two and placing themselves second in the ranking.

In the first semi-final, the Aspe will face the couple of Altuna-Rezusta against the winners of last year's Elordi-Zabaleta, while in the Baiko branch the couples Artola-Mariezkurrena and Laso-Iztueta will fight for the ticket for the final.

In Barakaldo, Artola and Rezusta won the first point of the Caixabank Masters after winning Ezkurdia and Albisu by 17-22. Otxandion also played the festival this afternoon. Elordi and Mariezkurrena won 22-18 over Larrazabal and Zabaleta.

The longest tournament of the summer will begin on July 17 in Viana. Javi Zabala will partner with Morgaetxebarria in Series B. On the other hand, Elordi and Mariezkurrena will partner in Series A, Altuna and Imaz will repeat one more year, and the Manomanist champion Dario Gómez will be escorted by Iztueta.

Dario Gomez has won Aitor Elordi (22-6) in the 8th finals of the Manomanist Championship league in Labastida, qualifying for the quarterfinals.

The four will qualify directly for the quarter-finals, where four champions can join in the same group: Laso, Altuna, Elordi and Jaka, if the last two pass the octave round.

The final will be played in the Navarra Arena on May 31. Compared to the 2025 event, Bakaikoa will replace Senar in Baiko and in Aspe there are no changes. In the octaves of the final, the matches will be: Dario-Elordi, Bakaikoa-Zabala, Peña II-P.

Aitor Elordi has been very angry with Laso and Albisu after losing the pass to the Couples Final. In the last few, it has been a controversial incident. Laso has gone into the locker room without permission and, following the rules, the Aspe pelotari has pointed out that he should be punished.
