The San Nikolas won their eighth summer victory by winning the XLI. El Correo Ikurriña-Kutxabank SN-Lekeitio City Council. The Donostiarra was second to 7 seconds after winning the second sleeve. The third was the Lekittarra to 8 seconds after easily dominating the first sleeve in the home regatta.
The Donostiarra has had problems in the second long ciaboga. The skipper Arkaitz Diaz has put his trainer over a wave and then they have not been able to get the ciaboga right.
We met with Igor Makazaga, the coach of the Donostiarra, to discuss the sensations after the start of the season. Although they have started better than expected, he said they have to correct some of the things about the plan they have and face the challenge that Orio's "desire to win everything."
Orio starts the Eusko Label League as a favorite, but the other teams also have clear goals for the season.
The St. Nicholas has broken the regatta in the second long and won the male title for the seventeenth time, ahead of Kaiarriba Donostiarra and Zierbena. In the female mode, Lugañen has won the third state title, ahead of Shipyard and Perillo.

The highest male trainer competition will begin on June 28 in Buitrago del Lozoya with the Bandera Pueblos con Vida Comunidad de Madrid and end on September 20 in Portugalete with the LVI GP - LII El Corte Inglés Flag.
