Eibar approves season accounts with 88.2% of the vote

The Eibar Sports Association Shareholders Board today approved the annual accounts and management report for the financial year 2024-2025 with 88.2% of the votes in favour.
The event brought together 899 shareholders in the Ipurua press room, who participated either face-to-face or telematically, representing 16463 shares, or 35.6%.
Councillor Joseba Unamuno noted that the result of the exercise was a loss of €1.914 million , €471 000 less than budgeted (€2,385 million).
For Unamuno, this data reflects a "huge" management effort to further reduce structural spending by adjusting spending to "real income" without jeopardizing "sports competitiveness."
Unamuno has pointed out that the club's economic discipline remains the hallmark of Eibar and ensures that strategic projects such as the Sports City of Areitio are financed without jeopardizing the "solvency" of the entity.
In her speech, Eibar President Amaia Gorostiza welcomed the fact that the Areitio Sports City has become "a reality" this season.
Gorostiza has also stressed that today Eibar has 6,017 subscribers , a figure that has allowed "one in seven inhabitants of Eibar" to be considered a member of the club.
Eibar's social involvement is a "distinctive advantage" that strengthens our sports project, in the opinion of the head of the Guipuzcoan club.
At the Shareholders' Meeting, Councilor Javier Gurrutxaga has taken stock of last season "Last season left us reasons to learn and to be excited.
