After half the first phase of the Couples Championship, the classification is in full swing. Altuna-Ezkurdia, Larrazabal-Mariezkurrena, Zabala-Martija, Elordi-Zabaleta, Jaka-Iztueta and Artola-Imaz are tied with four victories.

Jokin Altuna and Joseba Ezkurdia have won 22-15 for Peio Etxeberria and Beñat Rezusta in the match that closed the eighth day of the Couples Championship.

The winners went back 10 and 15 in a crazy game, thanks to a partial of 11 and 0. The second part of the meeting was exciting. It was a huge fight between the backers, and Jaka was more right in his remates.

Zabala and Martija have added their fourth win by defeating Elordi and Zabaleta 15-22. This is the longest game played so far, and the one with the most balls, with a total of 861 balls counted. 

Laso and Albisu have won their seventh win in the Couples Championship by defeating Artola and Imaz 12-22. The couple who lead the tournament have been brilliant and, although they have struggled to score the last so much, they have finally pocketed the victory.

After four consecutive defeats in the Couples Championship, Aspe's couple have started the year well, beating Jaka and Iztueta 22-16.

The Baiko couple have six wins in the seven contested days and, after the first round of the league, remain in the first place. In the match played at Astelena, they have been ahead on the scoreboard, but in the end they have had to suffer until they get the point. 

Laso and Albisu were winning 5-4, when the tenth both of the match was in play, when Javi Zabala made a good run, but Jon Ander Albisu picked it up brilliantly and the four pelotaris played a spectacular amount, and in the end the blues took it.

On the 1st of January, Astelena, there was a rarity: before the match between Laso-Albisu and Zabala-Martija began, the badge that was to determine which couple was going to make the first outlet stood and had to be thrown out again.

Unai Laso and Jon Ander Albisu have won 10-22 to Jokin Altuna and Joseba Ezkurdia on the 6th day of the Couples Championship in Vitoria-Gasteiz, where the blues have dominated and won their fifth win. 

Javi Zabala and Julen Martija have scored their third point in the Couples Championship, in the Adarraga, in a tough match, in which they beat Erik Jaka and Martxel Iztueta 20-22.

Peio Etxeberriand Rezusta have won 22-19 for Larrazabal and Mariezkurrena II on the fronton of Barañain.

The rivalry, very equal from beginning to end, has been resolved in the final many thanks to the push of Etxeberria and Rezusta, who have broken the balance in the final stretch and won.

Elordi and Zabaleta have shown superiority from the beginning in the match against Artola and Imaz (6-22) at the Astelena de Eibar.

Unai Laso and Jon Ander Albisu are strong in the Couples, who have only lost one game out of five. This time, too, they have won with great authority, beating Elordi and Zabaleta 11-22 .

In the Serie B Couples Championship match, Jon Ander Peña has claimed to have held himback and got rid of him.

Iñaki Artola and Ander Imaz did not get off to a good start in the Couples Championship, but gradually they have gone up, and this Saturday they have added their third point by winning 16-22 to Jokin Altuna and Joseba Ezkurdia.

Larrazabal and Mariezkurrena beat Zabala and Martija 16-22 on the 5th day of the Couples Championship. They started from behind on the scoreboard, but gradually improved their game and the last seven were theirs.

The couple of Elordi-Zabaleta and Laso-Albisu stand out in these four days of the Couples Championship. The two couples have won three wins and are at the top of the ranking.

Aitor Elordi and Jose Javier Zabaleta have won 12-22 for Erik Jaka and Martxel Iztueta on the 4th day of the Couples Championship, adding their third point.

Laso and Albisu have won 22-17 for Etxeberria and Rezusta on the fourth day of the Couples Championship, losing the four games played by Aspe's couple, so they have not scored yet.
