Unai Laso will be playing a special final this Sunday. He started the tournament with a serious injury behind him and is delighted with the way he has handled it. 

The pelotari Joseba Ezkurdia, together with Jokin Altuna, tells us in this interview how he feels about the Couples Final that he will play on Sunday and that, if he wins, he would be the first pelotari to win both the forward and the back.

Today in Bergara they played the final of the B Series Couples Championship, and Murua and Gabirondo defeated Peña II and Salaverri (18-22). Aspe's couple had their first professional final and have won the txapela in their first attempt.

On Saturday the B Series Couples Final will be played in Bergara. Peña II and Salaverri II will be measured with Murua and Gabirondo.

Albisu-Laso and Altuna-Ezkurdia have today chosen the material for the Couples Final in the Navarre Arena. No problem with the material offered, and they are eager to get the "dream cap" that they have on the big day.

The Couples Final between Albisu-Laso and Altuna III-ezkurdia will be historic. The date will be March 29 at the Navarra Arena. 

Aitor Elordi has been very angry with Laso and Albisu after losing the pass to the Couples Final. In the last few, it has been a controversial incident. Laso has gone into the locker room without permission and, following the rules, the Aspe pelotari has pointed out that he should be punished.

Dario and Ezkurdia beat Jaka and Iztueta on the third day of the semifinals (7-22). Today's game was irrelevant to the classification, as Jaka and Iztueta ran out of options last week, while Altuna and Ezkurdia are in the final.

Peña II and Landa have won 10-22 to their leaders Dario and Loza, who have waited for the second match, but Murua and Gabirondo have won 2-22 to Salaberria and Gaskue, who have won the second ticket for the final.

Ezcaray's striker will accompany Ezkurdia, and Jaka and Iztueta will be the rivals on the third day of the Couples Championship semifinals. Altuna III and Ezkurdia are already ranked for the final, and Jaka and Iztueta have no chance of playing that final.

A selection of material from Sunday's semifinal was made today in Adarraga, Logroño. Albisu's right hand has been the main topic of conversation.

Due to a concert, the pelotaris will not be able to train at the Navarra Arena before the final. Both Ezkurdia and Altuna have expressed their opinion on this issue. 

Altuna III-Ezkurdia and Jaka-Iztueta have chosen the material for the semi-final match of the Couples Championship that will be played this weekend at the Beotibar fronton in Tolosa on Tuesday. Jokin Altuna acknowledges that he does not know for sure whether he will be able to play because his hands are hurt. 

Joseba Ezkurdia and Jokin Altuna will be in the final of the Couples Ball Championship after defeating Laso and Albisu this weekend. 

Altuna and Ezkurdia beat Laso and Albisu on the second day of the semifinals (22-15). With this victory, Aspe's couple won the ticket for the  final. 

Elordi and Zabaleta have defeated Jaka and Iztueta 11-22 on the second day of the semifinals. With this victory, the Aspe have won a major victory in the fight to reach the final, while the Bai couple have almost run out of options after losing both games.

On Sunday, March 8, Altuna and Ezkurdia will face Laso and Albisu on the second day of the semi-finals of the Couples Championship in Vitoria, for which material has already been selected. 

On Saturday, at the Atano III fronton in Donostia, the two losing couples of the first day will be measured. Jaka and Iztueta lost Laso-Albisu to this year's best couple; Elordi and Zabaleta to Altuna and Ezkurdia.

It's hard for the other pelotaris to beat Laso and Albisu. They were leaders in the first phase and they're still the same in the second phase.
