Kosner Baskonia will play a friendly in León against Real Madrid
A friendly match between Real Madrid and the King's Cup champion Kosner Baskonia will be held on September 5 at 8:00 p.m. at the I. Memorial Urbano González Escapa, as confirmed by the organizers. is an initiative to honor the former player of León Elosua who fought to defend the rights of patients with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
The pre-season meeting for both teams will be held at the municipal palace, named after the Leonese sportsman who died of this disease last January, and all proceeds will go to the Fundación Española Investigación Esclerosis Lateral (FUNDELA).
In addition to the solidarity aspect of this initiative, the organizers of this meeting want it to be consolidated in the future as a reference date for the preparation of the Endesa League teams for the official season.
